Creating candles is a sensory experience that relaxes the mind by getting you in flow and allowing us to focus only on the material and the scent. Expect a natural calming effect and a beautiful candle.

Candle Making Workshop in London

This in-person Candle Making Workshop will last 1.15 hours and will be hosted by a Yougi candle expert.

You will start by learning about fragrance families and what top, heart, and base notes are. We'll share tips on creating a natural fragrance. You will learn the different benefits and healing therapies of the different essential oils.

You will then use a blend of essential oils to add to your soy wax candle. You will start by choosing your Yougi essential oil blend, setting up the wick, and finishing by pouring your 170ml candle to take home.

All raw materials are cruelty-free, ethically sourced, eco-friendly, and 100% natural.

Can I change the date of my workshop?
Please request any date changes at least 7 days ahead of your booked workshop. If you're ill or cannot attend the workshop last minute please email info@yougilondon.com so that we can let you know your options.

Can I get a refund on my workshop ticket?
As per our T&Cs, please note workshop bookings are strictly non refundable.However, if you are unable to attend the workshop we will do our best to accommodate changes to your booking with at least 7 days notice via email before your booked slot at info@yougilondon.com

What if I turn up late to a class?
Though we ask you to please arrive on time, we’re happy to accommodate latecomers up to 10 minutes past the class start time.

How many people will be attending my workshop?
Our candle making workshop guest capacity is 15 guests. But this is subject to change.

How long will the workshop last?
Our candle making workshops are usually around 75 minutes.

Can I bring a plus one if they haven't booked?
Our workshop space only has the capacity to hold booked guests.

Are the candle making classes suitable for young children?
Our workshops are not designed for children, but we’re happy to welcome children from the ages of 12+ who are accompanied by an adult also booked into the class.

Can I take my candle home with me on the day of the session?
Yes everyone to takes their candles home with them on the day but they will need to set for around 25 minutes while we talk about aromatherapy.

I want to host a private candle making session with my friends / family / team - how do I do this?

My friend who I booked into a class with is ill but I don't want to join a session without them. What do I do?
Sorry to hear your friend is ill. We still advise you to come if you’re not ill but please email info@yougilondon.com with as much notice as possible and we’ll talk through your options.
